New graduate student orientation

New graduate students are invited to attend the New Graduate Student Orientation on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 8:30am-4:00pm in the Hasselmann Alumni House. The orientation will give students the opportunity to connect with fellow graduate students, learn about campus resources, meet key university faculty and staff, enjoy a free lunch, and tour campus.

McMillin named interim chair of computer science

Dr. Bruce McMillin, assistant dean for strategic initiatives in the College of Engineering and Computing and an S&T faculty member since 1988, has been named interim chair of computer science for the 2018-19 academic year. He succeeds Dr. George Markowsky, who remains on the computer science faculty.
