Request your parking permit

Missouri S&T Parking is now accepting parking permit requests. If you have already requested to be put on the parking permit waitlist, no further action is needed at this time. You can confirm your selection by visiting the waitlist. You can also change your parking lot preferences up to the offer date.

Students must sign up on the waitlist in order to receive a parking permit. Use your Joe’SS username and password to sign up on the waitlist at any time and request parking areas of your choice (choose up to six locations). Get on the waiting list at

You can also renew permits on this site.

Parking permit offers will begin in mid-July following housing assignments. When your permit is available, you will be notified via your S&T email. You will have seven days to accept or reject your permit offer. If you decline your permit offer, you will still be able to receive a permit in any other lot you requested when one becomes available. If you fail to act on the email, the system will view your non-response as a declination. It is very important that you monitor your S&T email account.

The parking waitlist will be open year-round and your requests on the waitlist will be active for nine months. Parking spaces are assigned throughout the school year as students leave campus housing or transition to Greek housing. At the end of the nine-month period, you will receive a notice to renew your request. If you do not renew your request, it will expire and be removed from the system.

Parking permits are valid from Aug. 1 to July 31 each academic year and must be renewed each year.

Most parking lots are equipped with meters for short-term parking. There is also sporadic street parking surrounding campus (please adhere the to the city parking rules to prevent citations) and the City of Rolla and various private businesses offer parking-for-purchase options.
