Athletics to unveil refreshed visual identity on April 11

The Missouri S&T athletics and recreation department will unveil its new suite of athletic marks during a free celebration at noon Wednesday, April 11, in the Havener Center.

The previous primary athletic mark, introduced in 2008, was not flexible enough to use across all athletic uniforms and other mediums. While researching ways to overcome those challenges, it became clear that a refresh of the mark and additional logos were needed to create a visual identity that better represents the athletic program.

Groups of student-athletes, coaches and staff worked with a company nationally recognized as an expert in athletics branding, Rickabaugh Graphics, to develop the refreshed identity. The creative work was completed without any direct cost to S&T using revenues received from the university’s licensing program.
