Opportunities with Employers:Leadership Certification Programs – Deadline to apply is this week

If you’re interesting in building your professional leadership skills, improve your student organizations, and meet employers and campus stakeholders while doing so, sign up for a Leadership Certification Program

ELI is a semester- long leadership certification program designed to ignite & discover leadership potential while developing individual leadership skills. ELI is offered each semester and open to all undergraduate students. The Emerging Leaders’ Institute is offered both Wednesdays 11:30-1:00 and Thursdays from 4:30 -6:00.

• ELI has opportunities to meet employers and the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
• ELI can fit your schedule. We offer two different times and various levels of involvement.
• There will be weeks where there will be no ELI activities to support the academic schedules
• ELI has opportunities for fun events on and off campus
• Strengthen professional skills and self -awareness and confidence
• Campus recognition and perks for completion- including events with employers and priority consideration for compensated leadership positions
The Organizational Leaders’ Institute (OLI) is a training program for current and aspiring leaders of student organizations and future professional team leaders and project managers. OLI prepares participants to be stronger leaders of teams utilizing core professional leadership skill areas. OLI meets Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 and is open to all undergraduate students. Space is limited to 30 participants.
OLI has two certification components completed over the course of a year (you can do either semester or both) :
Foundations of Organizational Leadership – Fall Semester

The second OLI Session will have AT&T Recruiter Kim Rackers as a guest speaker* She will cover how to create your brand with leadership experiences and how to wow recruiters at the career fair

• OLI can fit your schedule ! We offer different levels of involvement in the program
• On average, you OLI requires 2 hours a week
• There will be weeks where there will be no OLI activities to support the academic schedule
• Get credit towards your certification for things you’re doing in your student orgs
• Get resources for your student organizations
• OLI develops skills for the workplace
