Expect noise when SUB presents Block Party April 21

Student Union Board (SUB) presents their annual Block Party event April 21, featuring student organization booths, various entertainment, and possibly loud music. This event will be free for students and public and will be held outside the Engineering Management Building on the promenade and the visitor’s parking lot in front of the Havener Center.  Be advised this parking lot and the Miner Circle Drive from campus support building to State Street will be closed beginning April 20 at 4:30 PM through April 21 for this event. Access to this area will not be available. Parking Operations is aware of the event and there will not be tickets issued on this day for Lot B permit holders. All other parking rules must be observed.

Sound check will begin at 2 PM and continue throughout the day.  SUB hopes to do their best with noise levels as  not to be too disruptive for offices and classrooms during this event.

Research suggests that students who are engaged in campus life feel more connected to the university, are more likely to be academically successful and often persist at a higher rate. Student life thanks you in advance for supporting their efforts to ensure student success.
