ewman Spaghetti Dinner

The Catholic Newman Center located between TJ and Electrical Engineering, is hosting a $3 Spaghetti dinner October 9 from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. National Coming Out Week

Bring an Ally Day October 8 at 7 PM in the Missouri – Ozark room located in the Havener Center. Bring your lunch to the Havener Center atrium October 10 from 11 AM – 1 PM as we join together as allies to the LGBT community. October 11 Coming Out Day party 5 PM – 7 PM in the Missouri – Ozark room in the Havener Center. This event is sponsored by Leadership and Cultural Programs and Spectrum. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

SUB, in conjunction with 2014 Homecoming of the Wizardly World of Miners, is showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Food and drink will be provided at both movies. Part 1 is showing October 10 at 8 PM in Toomey Hall room 199 and Part 2 is showing October 13 at 8 PM in St. Pat’s Ballroom. Homecoming points will be awarded for attendance to both of these movies. The two-film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows follows Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) as they search for the pieces of Voldemort’s (Ralph Fiennes) soul that he extracted from his being and hid in obscure locations both far and wide. If the trio is unable to locate and destroy them all, Voldemort will remain immortal. Despite their long friendship, a combination of dark forces, romantic tensions, and long-held secrets threaten to sabotage the mission. For more information contact Michael at mkbdm2@mst.edu.

SUB Presents: Homecoming 2014

Celebrate Missouri S&T’s annual Homecoming – Harry Potter style. The Wizardly World of Miners kicks off October 12. Any organization can participate. Events include: October 13 – games competition at noon at the Havener Center. October 14 – Court/Skit performances at noon at the Havener Center. October 15 – Contests at noon at the Havener Center. Associate Dean Candidates Open Forum

Academic Affairs for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business will hold four public feedback sessions from October 13 – 15 on the Missouri S&T campus.

These public meetings will allow Missouri S&T faculty, staff, and students, along with alumni and community stakeholders, an opportunity to listen to a short presentation by and interact with the individual candidates for the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business and to provide input to the committee as it prepares its report regarding the candidates.

Calc I Study Session

Panhel and IFC are hosting a Calc Review October 13 at 7 PM in preparation for the upcoming test. There will be a LEAD tutor there for assistance as well as several old exams. Please come with questions or just to review. If you have any questions contact Anna Mattione at anm8bd@mst.edu.

AIAA Guest Speaker
