Society of Women Engineers Meeting

Want to know more about the Society of Women Engineers and the importance of taking the PE exam? Attend the first general meeting to be held in Toomey Hall room 199 at 5 PM January 30. Salsa Club

The Salsa Club will meet January 30 at 6 PM in the aerobics room at the Student Rec Center. You do not need to have a partner and you do not need to know how to dance. Beginner lessons will be given. LabVIEW Workshop Information Session

If you’re new to programming with LabVIEW or looking to improve your existing skills, attend the January 30 session at 7 PM in Civil room 120 for an upcoming LabVIEW workshop. You’ll learn fundamental skills to develop data acquisition, instrument control, data logging and measurement analysis applications as well as have an opportunity to take the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) exam, a globally recognized entry-level certification exam. Iranian Movie Night

The Iranian Students Association is holding a movie night every Thursday starting January 30 from 7 PM – 9 PM. They will show acclaimed movies from the past two decades with English subtitles. For further information email us at ykar56@mst.edu.

Surplus Garage Sale

Missouri S&T Surplus Property will be having a public garage sale January 31 from 10 AM – 2 PM. Sale will be held at the surplus warehouse, located at 301 N. Bishop Ave. This is a garage sale type sale, and all items will be priced. Items will include computer systems, lap top computers, chairs, pictures, 3 ring note books, tables, cabinets, desks, etc. Phone and email is not answered on sale days. Fabulous Fluffy Flapjack Festival

Black History Month Kick-Off

IEEE to Host Clorox Representatives

IEEE is hosting Clorox in room G31 at 7 PM February 3. Free pizza and soda available. The company looking to fill positions for EE students and are recruiting heavily during the career fair. Free Arabic Language Sessions

The Muslim Students Association is sponsoring Arabic Language classes on Mondays between 7 PM – 8:30 PM at the library room 202 beginning February 3. The classes are free of charge to all Missouri S&T students and staff with limited seats. Participation will be on a first come, first served basis.
